Floats

It was a cold and windy day at the beach. We all wore our warm coats and walked around searching for the floats. Floats are made of glass and are very pretty. People bring them to the beach so others can find them. It mostly helps them stay open during the winter time (because who would go to the Oregon beach in the winter, it’s even cold in the summer time). The boys were ahead of Larkin, Mom, and I when we saw a pink sphere in the distance. We ran to it shouting but stopped when we saw what it was. A pink baseball that the boys had set up to trick us into being exited. Larkin was disappointed and Mom and I were sad. Noah, Josh and Dad thought it was funny. We kept searching for the floats. We walked all the way down the beach but didn’t find anything. Defeated, we started walking back. Dad was in front of us when he stopped and called Mom over. When Mom ran over she picked up the float that Dad found. We all ran to the car to bring it to the float place to show them. Once we got there they gave us the information about the guy who made it and congratulated us. We went to another beach to look for another and found a beautiful lime green one. Afterward we went for celebratory pancakes. It was an amazing, fun, awesome day. I am so glad we went float hunting.
